the easier is it to die.

  1. I would think it would be the more you know about death.

  2. "The more you know about life", the more fragile we understand that we are, whereas if we don't know about things, we think we're invincible.

  3. and when we realize that we are weak and not invincible and really like nothing- then it is easier to die? that is a defeatist attitude. that's like saying, i cant win so i might as well lose.

  4. I don't mean death in the literal sense, I mean that we see how much more frail we are.

  7. I am not sure that I understand what 'know about things' and 'easier to die' is supposed to mean. Life is life. Attitude is what will help a person see what it is in it for himself.
Death is not something that anyone 'likes' to contemplate. Your perspective seems to be the 'glass is half full' perspective. Why, the more a person understands life the more he/she can relate to the challenges humans face and the potential one has to succeed.
I would be more at ease hearing you say 'the more you know about life, the easier it is to live and to be at peace with the lot G-d bestowed upon you.'

  8. It seems you misunderstood me. I'll give you an example. The one who knows about health won't go for a jog unless he is properly prepared, because otherwise "Something terrible might happen", whereas the simple-minded will just do it, (even if it's) perhaps because he doesn't know about health. More than that I'm not trying to say.

  9. How does that make it 'easier to die'?

  10. Psychologically. Don't put more into what I said than what I meant to say at the time...
