Thanks for the Revelation

I never had a normal haircut. It was always 'Wow, who gave it to you?', or 'Nice'. But just a plain simple thing like a buzz - never heard of, even by the boys. What's interesting is that not only do they comment and compliment, but they seem not to realize that they're actually talking to you about something that isn't there. Your hair is gone. I know I sound stupid saying this, but the hair left after the haircut was there before too. So they are really complimenting on the revelation of previously concealed hair. Quite a deep idea, I say.

  1. The best haircut is one that garners no comments.

  2. I've yet to have such a haircut.

The ones who do comment are the well-meaning ones, to be sure, but that doesn't take away the point.

  8. I don't stand for any obscenities; sorry.

Since you started the yiddish, I figured you understood.

Of course I go to the designated barber. I see you still don't get it; let's move on to the next post.

  9. I understand Yiddish, I just don't appreciate when it's used by English speakers to communicate something which could very well be communicated in English.

If you go to the designated barber, then why do your haircuts garner so many comments?

  10. So this is your rationale:
I think he's an English speaker, so I'll use obscenities at him when he misuses the language I love.
    Can you explain?

As for the comments, I know it's a killjoy/sacrilege to explain these things, but I will anyways. My haircuts garner as many comments as anybody else's. I just find it ironic that this sort of thing is what people find nice or necessary to comment about. Why? Read the post again.

That's all there is to it.
